City of Fort Wayne Presentation on Aqua Indiana

Here's the presentation I promised. I wish you could hear Ted Nitza's commentary that went with it but the discussion simply lasted too long. However, the presentation by itself presents a compelling case for why the city should take over Aqua Indiana services...

Jeff,

Thanks for posting this. I think a lot of readers may be turned off by a city government-created PowerPoint, however it was actually a compelling argument for the city's takeover of Aqua Indiana's north customers. Well worth reading. I'd advise others to take the 5 minutes to flip through it.

Good post Jeff,

But I have an update, Aqua and City Utilities emoloyees are meeting this coming week too figure out the change over. It seems that Ted's Knute Rockne speach of three months is in reality several months. It seems that Ted wasn't consulting the people that really make things happen, just preaching from a soap box on fuzzy figures dating back to the Utility Center years (Which were bad). Why doesn't Ted talk about the Billions of gallons of raw sewage the City dumps into the three rivers every year? In fact Fort Wayne is one of the few areas in the state that refuses to estimate the amounts on monthly reports to Idem.
