Mayor Richard's office today released plans for the new $30 million downtown stadium and it's surrounding amenities. The stadium itself would have 5,000 fixed seats as well as additional seating.
Other features include a new hotel, 60 condominiums, 30,000 square feet of retail space, and a 900-space parking garage. The project is located in the area bounded by Jefferson Boulevard and Harrison, Brackenridge and Ewing streets. The $125 million public-private investment is a bold investment in downtown Fort Wayne, and through creative funding, will not create a property tax increase.

You know, as much as I like watching baseball games, I don't think I'd want to live right at a stadium. That's a little ... much.
Hey, thanks for stopping by the blog. Glad you enjoyed the SNL clip!
